On 6th and 7th February, 2022, the Sun has featured a gigantic solar prominence over the limbs chromosphere. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis Giant was visible for two days and then erupted, throwing a coronal mass ejection (CME) into space. So I made a huge effort of gathering as much images as possible during these two days in a row. With it, I could show the shape evolution of the prominence before it vanished. According to my measurements in pixels, the size of this prominence was about 10x the size our planet Earth, in height, but stretching around the sun’s limb for thousands of kilometres.
